The Local Cow in Gresham

What's not to love about the Local Cow? It's a quaint and eclectic little pub, just what we were looking for. We were here from California and asked a few people about good places to eat. This was recommended more than once, so we had to check it out. We both enjoyed our meals and loved the cool vibe. We bought a cool shirt too.

Even during the lunch rush, we were seated in less than 10 minutes. Service is good. The breaded zucchini is awesome and the burgers and sandwiches are great. A new favorite when in the Gresham/Portland area.

Great food, neat little place, friendly staff, and great social distancing

This is one of the best burgers in the Portland Area. They have it fine tuned to Master burger status! High quality local ingredients makes their burgers amazing. Really good French fries and a special house fry sauce. The Local Cow is no secret so plan on a little wait during popular times. Next time the you get the Burger attack give the Local Cow a try and enjoy.

We just moved to the area and went here for dinner one night. Everything we ordered was good and the staff was nice. The kids slider meal is totally big enough for 2 small children.

Love the food here. Really is a fantastic burger joint. Prices are a bit high, but definitely worth it.

Great food, great atmosphere. Clean restrooms. Excellent service with a smile. Watching the crew work is like witnessing a fine oiled machine. They work hard and have a great time doing it. You won't be disappointed if you eat here. Great burgers, great fries.

Perfect little homegrown burger and beer spot with great salads and fries. All the food was fantastic...well portioned and cooked with tasty burger combos. Great selection of local beers. The staff was awesome! So glad we stopped to enjoy. A really great spot on a quaint street.

The burgers were delicious! Service was good, the waitress was very nice and helpful with answering questions about the menu. We made this a local must do stop with out of town guests. They were impressed and really enjoyed their meal. My daughter loved the make your own burger! We would definitely come again!

Went here the first time for to go had to wait an absurd amount of time considering there was no one around or waiting. Food was good even recommended a few people. Placed an order through the yelp page which took you through grub hub there prices are significantly higher. Which okay I like convenience went and picked up my food it was cold and missing items I drive all the way back and they don’t once apologize or try to help me get my food instead it’s my fault that she’s training someone and busy. 45$ for 3 burgers and terrible service

One of my favorite places to get a burger but be careful with the deep fried pickles! Lol they can be pretty hot. (Temp) obviously. Anyway good food good peoples 👍😁🤟

Wait in drive thru too long, ten minutes. The girl on phone was very rude to me and hung up on me before I was done speaking with her. I'll never pick up an order from here nor go to this restaurant ever again. I don't appreciate being treated this way when I was only very polite to her on the phone.

Great food - best local burgers and fries on the east side of the Portland area!

As with most things in life you get what you pay for, and this is no exception. You get premium ingredients along with premium flavors here. In our house, we definitely like the homemade type of foods so this place really hit the spot!

We got the Lovett & Wilson. My husband liked the Wilson but said he probably wouldn't order it again. I barely ate my burger. It had so much mustard it was all you could taste and incredibly greasy. If you like meaty & greasy burgers def a good place but not my taste. I wasn't a fan of having to pay extra to upgrade to fries since the burger is already $14.

I heard their rosemary fries were legendary so I ordered some to go. Brought it home. Come to find the fries sticking to the paper leaving red all over the fries. Had to throw out half my order. Called the store and got an apology but no talk of replacement. Really disappointed.

Great experience. Lovely atmosphere, sweet waitress, amazing food. I hope to come back the next time I'm in town.

Ordered through DoorDash, and received a great lunch delivered to our door. The sliders and Lovett burger were both good, and the fries were great, loved the flavor of them and the sauce was really tasty. The cheese balls had a unique texture that I personally wasn't a fan of but I'd order everything else again, maybe even two orders of the fries and sauce! Definitely full from the meal and for a reasonable price.

We ordered from Door Dash, and it was just awful. We order two burgers, a soda and a lemonade. One burger was completely different then what we ordered. And the other one was soggy and had a hair in the patty. This was an awful experience as it was our first time ordering from there and I was very excited about the food as it looked and sounded delicious from the menu. Probably not ever gonna get food from there again.

I LOVE this place for more than their amazing food. I just called in to edit a GrubHub order and I know how annoying that can be. They were awesome and made my day by making my adjustments. I really appreciate that. Now my meal and day have been made 10x more special. Also, props to the sweet girl helping me on the phone. Sorry I didn't get your name. She made me feel less anxious about asking for what I wanted. Kick ars customer service. Above and beyond. Much appreciated y'all!

Phenomenal burgers. We went with a decent sized group and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their burgers and fries. The Wilson Hill and El Chupacabra were favorites. Outside seating was awesome on a nice summer afternoon. They're right next to a brewery that has live music, so we were able to enjoy that while dining as well. Absolutely recommend. Absolutely will be back.

Such a good lunch. The Pendleton was perfect. Kennedy is the coolest waitress I've had in a very long time.

I had just finished a speech therapy appointment with my daughter and had called in an order to pick up. When we went in my daughter was sad because she thought we were going home and started to melt down a little. One of the workers came over to check and offered her a juice box and it cheered up my daughter. She was calm the car ride home because they went above and beyond. I am thankfull for such good food and better people.
